Unfurl Paper
Unfurl Paper is crafted from recycled paper and designed with the fascinating intricacies of fractal geometry in mind. The chair's name, derived from the unfurling of fern fronds, embodies its distinctive aesthetic. The recycled paper has been densely compacted which makes even stronger and more durable than plywood.
Unfurl Ply
Unfurl Ply is the expression of fractal geometry within the constraints of a birch plywood chair. It both expresses and tests the limits of plywood with 26 individual profiles expanding and contracting depending on their position within the ensemble. The form and shape follows the profile and form of the human body to maximise comfort whilst cantilevering out on a seemingly thin base.
Infinitum Paper
Infinitum Paper has a form spiralling from a central point outwards. It is crafted from recycled paper and is inspired by the beguiling nature of fractal geometry.
This piece may serve as a side table or small coffee table.
Currach Table
This table is inspired by the hull of a traditional Irish currach which tapers at its edge. Assembled from 366 pieces of birch plywood, its simple oval form is punctured by a circular fruit bowl.
This dining table comfortably fits 8 people.
Stereopsis
The ability to perceive depth, known as stereopsis, is brought to life through this credenza. Drawing inspiration from artist Bridget Riley, the design features a geometric pattern that cleverly tricks the eye into seeing a 3D form emerge from a flat surface. This credenza adds an elegant form of storage to any room with two press open doors.
